Dashmetry is a rhythm-platformer in which you dash and jump to the thumping beats. Along with a fun ride, you could practice, customize your icons, and get into both easy and hard levels.
Dashmetry Game Summary
Inspired by Geometry Dash, Dashmetry is a free rhythm-platformer played in a browser. The main objective is to guide a geometric icon through various levels—from easy to extremely difficult—overcoming the obstacles and completing the level. The soundtrack, the obstacles, and the movements are perfectly in sync, creating a thrilling and rhythmic experience.
Max Out Your Skills with Dashmetry
Dashmetry isn't for the fast-finished players. You will require quick reflexes, sharp sight, and maybe the best ear for rhythm as well. Each level is a reflexes test—there are spikes, portals, slopes, and so on, everything that could go wrong is there. Every jump or dash will require you to align with the music and the tempo of the level.
Dashmetry: The Reflex and The Timing Are The Key Components To Success
How to Play and Main Rules
For desktop users: clicking with the left mouse button or pressing the spacebar/up arrow key can be used for jumping or flying.
Mobile users: tapping on the screen is equivalent to performing the action.
While the icon is in fly mode, hold/press the icon to go up.
Touching any barriers (spike, wall, etc.) will result in an instant level restart.
There exists a Practice mode to ensure you get acquainted with the level prior to attempting Normal Mode.
Tips and Tricks That Will Make You Win for Sure
The music should be followed — the rhythm generally indicates when you are to jump or dash. You will thereby be able to predict the moment of your reaction.
Choose the easy levels at first, get familiar with the controls & rhythm before attempting the hard levels.
In flying mode, pressing the space bar will make it harder for you to get into danger, but it will also make flying easier for you.
If a level is too hard for you and you keep dying, then better use Practice Mode, where you can still practice without being a loser—it is a good way to get used to the layout without spending too much time.
Try to keep your eyes and the beat in mind—don't rely too much on the music if the music or sync is a little off.
The Main Features That Set Dashmetry Apart from Others
Dashmetry is different from others because of:
Numerous game modes: the present version consists of a primary mode along with levels; in addition, an Endless or Race mode has been declared for the future.
Community and user-created levels: the editor allows you to design your levels and play maps created by other users, thus increasing both creativity and challenge.
Icons & interface personalized: icons, colors, trail effects, skins… all these factors contribute to making your character a true reflection of you.
Music & motion synchronization: every level is done with all the elements necessary for the sense of flow, obstacles, and gravity, coupled with the vibrant electronic music, creating a unique experience when playing.
